In our last blog post, we took a look back at some of the large-format print application trends we saw from our wonderful trade customers throughout 2025. Flags, Heras fencing banners and roller banners all remained firm favourites but one thing was clear across the board - the steady growth of textile we’ve been noting for the past few years has shown no signs of slowing.
Our 2026 Prediction: Textile print is the trend that’s not going anywhere

Print businesses are increasingly looking for ways to diversify their offering, and textile displays have firmly earned their place as a go-to solution. From events and exhibitions to retail and wind-proof outdoor applications, the demand keeps growing.
So, as we look to the year ahead, we thought we’d delve a little deeper into just how and why textile growth will continue to shape the industry in 2026.
Helping print businesses stay competitive
Across the board, print businesses of all sizes are expanding their offerings. This is because being able to provide a broader range of solutions helps strengthen customer relationships and positions print businesses as long-term partners, not just now-and-then suppliers. It’s no longer just about unlocking new revenue streams or providing a profitability boost. Whether that means investing in additional in-house capacity or outsourcing to a trusted trade supplier such as Venture Banners, the goal is typically the same - businesses are looking for new ways to remain competitive and to offer more value to their customers.
As a trade-only large-format print supplier, our focus is firmly on supporting our customers to do exactly that, enabling them to tap into our capacity, expertise and state-of-the-art equipment as they diversify into lucrative opportunities in large-format and textile print. This is exactly why we predict the growth of textile signage to continue into the year ahead as more businesses realise the benefits of these products.
Events, POS and everything in between
Demand for textile has grown consistently across both indoor and outdoor event applications, so in response to this demand we expanded our textile product range throughout 2025. That included new Heras fencing and crowd barrier graphics with the launch of our new AirMesh Polyester material, alongside Arch flags and pop-out banners, all designed to help brands stand out in busy environments.
- We launched our new AirMesh Polyester material at the start of 2025 and it quickly became one of our most popular textile options
- SEG fabric displays are ideal for exhibitions and industry events due to being simple to assemble and take down as well as being reusable
Another textile favourite that continues to gain traction is Silicone Edge Graphics (SEG) fabric displays, particularly for exhibitions and industry events and point-of-sale (POS) applications and retail. They’re simple to assemble, easy to transport, and once you’ve got the frame, the graphics can be swapped out time and time again. It’s no surprise they’ve become such a hit as sustainability concerns mean marketers and print buyers are increasingly looking to reuse and repurpose graphics rather than disposing of them after a single event which is not only less harmful on the planet but brings long-term cost savings too!
To support this shift, we recently introduced a new illuminated modular SEG fabric free-standing lightbox to our range, offering the same high image quality our customers can expect from all our products, with the added benefit of flexibility and reusability.
- SEG Fabric Free Standing Lightboxes offer a beautifully-finished and seamless branding solution that is perfect for store displays or exhibitions
Why demand for textile print continues to increase
So, what’s driving the continued growth of textile displays? From what we see (and hear from our customers), textile displays are proving popular for several practical reasons. From ease of transport to their vibrant image quality, here are four reasons we think textile is having its long-lasting moment.
- Ease of installation and de-installation: The fact that these products are easy to transport and straightforward to install and take down make them ideal for everything from one-off events to annual exhibitions, saving both time and effort on site. Most textile displays like SEG fabric lightboxes and stretch fabric displays can be easily assembled with one-to-two people, leaving the rest of the team to focus on the rest of their event presence. Plus, the quicker displays are to take down at the end of an event, the quicker the team and event organisers can go home!
- Real visual impact: Combined with vibrant, high-quality print results that deliver real visual impact, textiles offer a premium look without creasing or damaging in transit and whilst being installed or taken down. This is ideal for applications like retail, POP, and exhibitions where it’s crucial that a seamless and high quality brand image is portrayed. The soft, tensioned finish of SEG graphics ensures that the graphics stay smooth and not creased and the consistency in the finished look of the products helps brands to maintain a professional appearance.
- Lightweight and reusable: Add to that lightweight, reusable materials that can be packed away, stored and reused across multiple campaigns, and it’s easy to see why textile solutions continue to grow in popularity. The durability of textiles mean they maintain their colour and structure over repeated use, delivering long-term value and making them a cost-effective choice for brands looking to maximise return on investment across various seasons or campaigns.
- Environmental benefits: That last point is becoming increasingly important because the environmental benefits of textile signage – from reduced waste due to reusability to easier logistics with textile signage being easy to pack down - are resonating more and more as buyers actively seek out sustainable branding solutions. Their lightweight nature reduces fuel consumption during transport, helping to lower overall carbon emissions. As sustainability becomes a key decision-making factor, textile signage aligns with both environmental goals and commercial priorities too.
Looking ahead to 2026
Finally, looking a little closer to home, 2026 is shaping up to be an exciting year for us at Venture Banners too. We’ve got some developments underway that we hope will allow us to expand our offering even further to support our customers in even greater ways.
We can’t say too much just yet, but watch this space!
